Located at 2,100 metres above sea level in a forest, the Grand Hôtel & Kurhaus offers panoramic views of Arolla and the Valais Alps. En-suite rooms feature traditional Alpine decor with wooden furniture. The hotel is steps from ski lifts and slopes, and serves Swiss cuisine and Valais specialties in its restaurant. Free Wi-Fi, private parking, and massage treatments are available, along with a library, TV room, and table tennis.

The location was dreamy, a perfect spot after a long hike, and I’d return anytime; dinner and breakfast were very tasty.

The Grand Hotel Kurhaus looks stunning in its classic style, and the staff are kind and helpful. The grounds are lovely, featuring a spacious lawn where you can unwind and take in the scenery. My room was comfy and fully equipped. Dining was excellent.
