Even though it’s close to the station, Nishinari feels quiet, but reaching the smoking area is a bit of a hassle.

The location is excellent for moving around Osaka and for trips to nearby cities; the facilities are adequate and allowed us to leave our luggage in storage for more than a day while we visited Kyoto and then returned to Osaka for the festival. The rooms are small, but that’s stated, so it’s not really a complaint—just a heads‑up that if you bring multiple suitcases the space will feel tight.
