The place looks exactly like the photos, sits in a quiet, good neighbourhood with everything nearby, and public transport is great—metro and funicular connect well to the city centre. The owner is super friendly, always ready to help, and could easily become your new Italian friend, making you feel so welcome you’ll want to return to Naples. Everything was perfect, from the accommodation to the hospitality.

We’ve travelled a lot and honestly never felt such hospitality as from Luciano and Tonia. After a late flight, Luciano met us at the property and even had pizza waiting, a thoughtful touch. They kept going above and beyond: local snacks, a traditional Napoli cornicello good‑luck charm, room cleaning, and a free early‑morning airport transfer. Communication was stellar from booking onward; Luciano answered WhatsApp messages quickly. The room was great—blackout blinds, comfy bed, powerful hot shower, effective AC, bedside outlets, microwave, paper plates and cutlery, and even umbrellas for day trips to the Amalfi Coast. Breakfast at the café across the road was perfect every morning: a coffee and pastry of choice, staff friendly, and they knew our order by the end of our stay. Mini fridge, kettle, and coffee bar in the room were also nice. Located in Vomero, the spot had easy public transport, away from central noise and crowds. Metro Line 1 was under a 10‑minute walk, making the city centre, Pompeii, and other sights accessible. Montesanto Funicular was closed for maintenance, but Chiaia Funicular was also within a 10‑minute walk and offered a convenient alternative. The only minor issue was no safe inside the room; there was one just outside, so we assumed it was being installed. It didn’t affect our stay, everything else was excellent.

We loved staying at Morghen 88 rooms; Luciano is a fantastic host! He picked us up from the airport, even waiting while we were stuck in a long passport queue, and welcomed us with fresh local Napoli pastries. He was kind and helpful throughout, giving us an 11/10 for hospitality. The B&B’s location was perfect for us: Vomero has a chill vibe, a nice quiet area away from the busier parts of Napoli, and transport links to all hotspots are easy and close. If we visit Napoli again, we’ll 100% stay here. If you want a great location with a super friendly local host, book Morghen 88 rooms!
