Super cool! Free breakfast with various rice balls and miso soup, plus a welcome drink. The owner and staff chatty—most staff speak English, the owner speaks Japanese and English—happy to answer questions. The shower was clean, the toilet and common areas were tidy, and the building looks old but still clean. The hostel is quiet, likely in a residential area, and close to the MRT station—great stay overall! No complaints—awesome 🌟

Honestly, everything was great. Air Osaka Hostel is exactly the kind of place a solo traveller wants to arrive at. I was welcomed warmly by very nice people who handed me a beer after a long ride—exactly what I needed. It’s in the coolest part of Osaka, surrounded by amazing street art. I slept deeply in a shared room that offered enough privacy. The shower and toilet were spotless, and I had a tasty breakfast ready that morning. I just wish the rooms were bigger!

The staff were amazing. The hostel was cute, cozy, and social, yet still relaxing. Our private room was spacious with air‑conditioning, and the price was unbelievably low for such a fantastic area of Osaka. I give it a 10/10 and would recommend it.

The building was lovingly restored to preserve its Showa‑era charm, and the worn wooden floorboards in the stairwell and hallway added a warm touch. The bedding—sheets, futon, and pillows—were all covered and ready, and the towels could be borrowed for 100 yen. The shower room was great for resetting after a long day. The hostel is surrounded by many eateries, and the subway and bus stations are close to the station, which is a big plus. A large supermarket is right there, so it’s easy to grab groceries. Many international guests stay here, and the staff are helpful in multiple languages, which made me feel at ease. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable, so I’d love to visit again. The only downside was that the wide common area was crowded with people taking off their shoes, so a shoe rack or closet would tidy things up. It’s hard to find any negatives when there are so many good points.

The staff were very nice, the location was good, the bar was great, and the hostel had a sweet vibe with a pleasant atmosphere. It was very loud at night because the accommodation is right next to a main road.
