Excellence location close to shopping the lake and dining. Breakfast attendant was a very nice attentive young lady. Bathroom was not cleaned the 1 day I requested maid service

The carpet was totally dirty. You have to hunt for the outlet. The bathroom and room were old. The check‑in didn’t work. The price‑value ratio is completely off.

“Great spot to stop, close to all facilities both in summer and winter. Cable cars nearby.”

The view of the Alps was stunning, and getting around was a breeze with the railpass buses; the scenery was spectacular and the town stayed beautiful even in summer. I loved the bakeries nearby—food was amazing—and the shops stayed open at odd hours. Breakfast was solid, and the evening meal was traditional. Unfortunately, there was no reception at the hotel, so I had to go to the sister hotel next door for help because the lifts were broken, which was a real hassle with heavy bags and no one to help me climb two flights of stairs. The staff at the sister hotel did help me out when I left, and they arranged a shuttle to the train.

“Quaintly decorated like a Swiss chalet”

Checking in online was a nightmare, but the sister hotel organized a door‑to‑door pickup from the station and drop‑off back again. The breakfast they offered was substantial, the views were amazing, and a pleasant walk brought me straight into the center of St Moritz. The double glazing was so good it completely muffled the roadworks right outside. The only downside was there was just one power socket in the room; I think the previous guests were smokers, but we left the window open while lunching in town and that solved the issue.
