A private balcony and terrace overlook a garden and inner‑courtyard, with outdoor furniture and a dining area for al‑fresco meals. The bunk‑bed dormitory space sleeps one, includes a kitchen equipped with a coffee machine, a dining table, and hardwood or parquet floors, and provides linens for the guest. A bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and single‑room air‑conditioning completes the unit.

“Inutile”
Nothing at all – absolutely everything was missing, since nobody was there when I arrived at the hotel and no one could answer my calls.
The staff member who helped me was really nice and the rate was good, but the fans were broken, the mattresses felt old and thin, and the air‑conditioning was noisy.

“Rustic Bungalow in the Trees”
I stayed here mid‑April for 5 nights. It was a super relaxed, rustic surf shack up the hill from the beach in the trees, with plenty of wildlife—howler monkeys, birds, raccoons. I slept in the dormitory with chill, honest people and nice neighbors. For check‑in and questions, you’ll want to WhatsApp Mekki, the owner, as he lives off‑site (pay with cash/colones only) – his number is on a sign outside the dorm rooms. The dorms have A/C, an outdoor bathroom/shower, a small pool next door near the private rooms, and a kitchen and hangout spot on the patio. There are a few spots underneath and above the dorms for a couple of cars/motorcycles to park. It’s a minutes walk down to Playa Pelada for the sunset, restaurants, and a trail near the bottom by Olgas to get to Guiones—about 15 min. Fun surf in the mornings and evenings during high tide! I would recommend updating the bedframes and mattresses, but the cleaning lady comes every day and everyone seemed to keep the place clean themselves. I had a great time exploring the Nosara region!
