“Ci tornerei per il ristorante e non per l’hotel.”
The restaurant staff were courteous and helpful, the quality was excellent and the price‑to‑quality ratio for four people was great; for dinner we ordered three main courses with sides, one starter, one pizza, two bottles of water, a draft beer for €0.50 and the total came to €103.00. The meat dishes were generous enough for six people and cooked perfectly (goulash with dumplings and cabbage salad were outstanding). The bathroom was disappointing—no bidet, and the shower enclosure and fixtures felt outdated, though it was spotless, which mattered most. The room wasn’t a true quadruple but a triple adapted for four; it was nice and comfortable and would have been much cozier with air‑conditioning, which was missing. Because the room faced a green hill, we wanted to keep the balcony open, but the lack of mosquito nets discouraged us. Finally, the breakfast felt like a rip‑off: eight 30‑gram croissants, a small cup of Nutella, a 1‑litre bottle of still water and a glass of orange juice cost us €50.00.
