Astrid welcomed us warmly and gave a personal tour, which made us feel right at home. Having our own driveway and the option to park the car behind a fence was a nice bonus (not essential for us, but appreciated). The décor is cozy and everything is solidly built. The decision to omit interior doors between the different rooms was intentional. Communication before arrival via the app was smooth, and we received an email with all the practical details right after payment. In short, the service was exactly what you’d expect from a hotel booking.

The apartment was cleaner than clean, very comfortable, with plenty of towels, and a huge sunny garden that was perfect for relaxing. It was an ideal base for our Pieterpad adventure. The host’s friendliness made contact easy, both digitally and in person, and we’d love to return. Some guests mentioned that the open layout and lack of doors between the bathroom and other rooms were less comfortable, but we didn’t mind at all; it actually created a pleasant sense of space.
