A very pretty and spotless place, with friendly staff and a stunning view. It’s outside Bonn Ella, but the city is quick to reach. The owner offers a tuk‑tuk ride into town and back, and the communication is always excellent. The only downside is that it’s still very good.

The location is gorgeous and tranquil just outside Ella, with a fantastic view. The owners are very nice and helpful, the breakfast is good, and the price‑quality ratio is great. A tuk‑tuk takes you to the main road in 5 minutes, which is nice! The only issue is that you can’t store your luggage in the room very easily.

A Little Piece of Heaven at H3 Hilltop Heaven was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of our time in Ella. The setting is simply beautiful — peaceful, quiet and surrounded by lush greenery, with gorgeous views and a wonderfully calm atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. What really made our stay special were the hosts, Chathurika and Asith. They are such a warm, welcoming and genuinely lovely husband‑and‑wife team. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully prepared, giving us the perfect start to each day. Chathurika and Asith were also incredibly helpful with suggestions about what to see and do in the area. They took the time to help us plan and fine‑tune our itinerary, which made exploring Ella so much easier and more enjoyable. We especially loved the beautifully manicured garden, filled with flowers and tropical plants. You can really see the care and love that has gone into creating this peaceful little haven — with the gorgeous bougainvillea being a particular highlight. It was lovely to see how much pride our wonderful hosts take in their home and garden. If you are looking for somewhere quiet, beautiful and genuinely welcoming, with wonderful hosts, delicious food and a stunning natural setting, we cannot recommend H3 Hilltop Heaven highly enough. A truly special place, made even more special by Chathurika and Asith. ❤️🌺🌿 Thank you for making our stay so memorable — we would love to return!

The location is lovely, it’s very peaceful, the food is delicious, Chatrikar and Asit — the husband and wife who run the guest house — are lovely people. It’s easy to get to Ella, yet staying here feels so much nicer than in the town. I cannot recommend it enough. Nothing else to mention.
