I liked the price and the traditional Japanese style of the room, but the facilities are dated and look run down.

The facilities and supplies were sensible, and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. There was nothing negative to mention; perhaps it helped that there were no other guests on the same floor, though I didn’t actually verify that.

The facilities were sufficient for the price, and the service was very good; there were cats you could touch. No issues.

The inn feels authentically Japanese, letting guests sleep on tatami mats and access a communal bath, and its spot is incredibly handy— the walk from Shizuoka Station is flat enough that lugging a 25 kg suitcase isn’t a strain.
