“Um Riad fora da Medina! Vale muito a pena!”

A Riad just outside the Medina, in the “new city”, is a rare find. We loved it because it felt like a true riad but with the convenience of being only a 15‑minute walk from the train station and no need to lug luggage through Medina’s streets. The owner made everything easier, even preparing an amazing breakfast for us—definitely request at least one day of breakfast. We stayed in the hotel’s largest room, which was well worth it: comfortable bed, good Wi‑Fi, and a homely vibe. My boyfriend told me to write this: “just go, you won’t regret it.” The shower could be better and there’s no elevator, but overall it’s worth it.
