Our host was very attentive in making sure we could access our room after normal hours and answered any queries we had promptly. The room was a lovely size,very clean and comfortable with splendid countryside views from windows on two sides. The modern, comfortable room in a large townhouse on the edge of a quiet village was beautiful, and John was a jovial host who wanted his guests to enjoy themselves (feedback welcomed); he also loves engaging conversation and gave us good tips for the road. The continental breakfast served in the stylish room was a buffet but was not a point for us and more than sufficient. Nothing else; the king‑size bed was, by our standards, a queen‑size (standards differ on the continent), but we knew this beforehand and slept very well.

The room was lovely with a great view of the fields and cows, and John took great care of us as a very kind and friendly host; the continental breakfast was good, car parking was available, and the hotel’s location is convenient for visiting the east of Northern Ireland. The room had no TV, but there was a communal television room open to everyone, which didn’t bother us since we were only there to sleep with family.
