The breakfast had dulce de leche, a snack in the afternoon, and a good bed. Overall the breakfast fell short—fruit, cake, and pão de queijo were mediocre or bad; the inn changed the bath towel every two days, yet they still forgot to swap it.

The location and view were dreamy, the staff very friendly, and the afternoon cake with coffee and tea—especially on rainy days—was superb. Fresh orange direct juice was a highlight. Check‑in was hassle‑free, and one staff member spoke excellent English. Occasionally you could spot monkeys and a lot of birds. However, all towels and sheets were frayed and torn, beach towels cost extra, and the path to the hotel was muddy and sandy in the rain. That was mentioned just before arrival, but it could have been included in the nightly rate, at least for the way in or out, since the fee for that short stretch is outrageous—even if the hotel didn’t set it. Breakfast would have benefited from cucumber, tomato, or salad, and there was no kettle.

Las vistas desde la habitación eran INCREIBLES. El personal super amables y serviciales, la chica de recepción era un encanto! El desayuno estaba riquísimo. Volveremos 100% a Ihla Grande y 100% nos alojaremos de nuevo aquí♥️. Todo fue perfecto

We liked how available and kind the staff were. The safe was too small, there was no tea-making equipment, and the breakfast lacked flavor.
