The Hotel Walther v.d. Vogelweide Superior in Klausen, Chiusa, overlooks the River Isarco from a medieval building. It offers alpine-style rooms, a restaurant with vaulted ceilings, a garden, disco, and large terrace. Traditional design, LCD TVs, and modern bathrooms are featured. The hotel serves homemade breakfasts, South Tyrol specialties, and offers a library, games room, free WiFi, and ski shuttle to Alpe di Siusi.

Everything was good, a beautiful spacious room, good bed and shower, a very extensive breakfast, a nice terrace, and the location in the historic centre of Klausen; we were on a motorcycle and could park it inside. Nothing else.

The staff were really very accommodating and professional. The hotel’s location was very quiet and close to a river, which was very nice. The room was clean and matched the photos. The breakfast was exceptional, with only high‑quality products and a large variety of choices. The parking is not included in the initial price; you can park on a large lot next to the hotel at your own cost, or the hotel offers underground parking for 7€/day.

The Deluxe room was spacious, the bathroom huge with a walking shower, breakfast was a 100% and praise-worthy. The lady was incredibly kind and helpful. The quiet you need for breakfast was there for a good start… and we were on a bike, which was perfect. Highly recommended in the historic centre of Chiusa, a stunning little town. We didn’t like the… leaving by bike.
