The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, even with our late arrival, and they made checking into our room easy with clear lockbox instructions. We stayed in Suite 8 and loved the character of the room; it was spacious, comfortable, and had great little touches like snacks, bottled water, books, games, a refrigerator, microwave, and a sink area. The property has so much Route 66 charm, and the little souvenir shop was adorable, giving it a unique, family‑run feel rather than a generic hotel. There really wasn’t anything we disliked about our stay. My only suggestion would be to have a simple printed guide in the room for guests, especially those arriving after the office has closed. Something with basic room and property information, helpful tips, nearby places to visit, and maybe a few fun Route 66 or local history facts would be a really nice touch. The staff gave us good directions for our late arrival, but having everything written down in one place would make the experience even easier.

The experience was exceptional, a historic motel on Route 66, absolutely recommended. The staff were kind and efficient. The rooms were tidy and clean, recreating an old‑time atmosphere.
