“Highly recommended place to stay.”
The room and bathroom were clean and well appointed with a small fridge, a TV, towels, toiletries, and even a washing machine in the bathroom; the bed was comfy with plenty of pillows and an extra blanket, and the shared bathroom was only between two rooms so there were no long waits for the shower; staff were all super friendly and helpful, as were the locals; meals were generous with plenty of options and great quality; the pub had a great atmosphere, was family friendly, and had a great space upstairs for functions; staying as a single woman, I felt safe with no concerns at all; I stayed for 3 days for a local event, had a great time, and would definitely recommend staying here to friends and others.
