The staff were very friendly, and the hotel was only 15 minutes from the city centre. The bed in my room was good, there was a small fridge, and the Wi‑Fi worked well. The noise from the exhaust fan in the bathroom started when I turned on the light and was an irritating tick; moreover, the building was quite noisy. I think I woke up every hour from the noise, especially on the second night (maybe not every hour, but that’s how it felt).

The value for money was outstanding, and there was a kettle and a return‑boiler plus instant coffee and tea.

Kind staff. The WC tank was switched on, so we only used water when it was open. The vent above the shower was very loud. There was a sewer smell in the room. The window was hard to open, and the curtain fell.

Nice and good room, calm surroundings. The reception was heavy‑handed. The lady at the desk couldn’t book me quickly enough so she could move on. If you take this job, you’re expected to work on Sundays too.
