Hausboot Sophie in Stralsund features a two‑bedroom, one‑bathroom layout with a living room, kitchenette, dining area and beach access. Guests enjoy lake views from a sun terrace, free Wi‑Fi, TV, coffee machine, hairdryer and electric kettle, plus outdoor furniture and a picnic area. Located an eight‑minute walk from Stralsund Beach, near Theatre Vorpommern and the harbour, with boating opportunities nearby.

The houseboat was great, very clean and well equipped. We were four with a dog and the space was sufficient. The location right next to the university was a bit of a drawback, but the old town is about 3 km away and easily reachable on foot, some paths even run along the promenade, offering a nice view. On the downside, the décor on the houseboat felt a bit excessive for the limited space, which wasn’t ideal. I also wished there were fly screens in the kitchen/ living area because there are a lot of spiders around.

The accommodation was fantastic; even with the cold winter temperatures, the houseboat stayed cozy and warm. Everything on the boat was in excellent condition. The only issue was that at low tide, the exit from the boat onto the dock is almost impossible for non‑athletic visitors and could even be dangerous if you fall in.
