Breakfast was plentiful, the location was quiet, parking was hassle‑free, and Wi‑Fi was good. The vegetable side‑dish ingredients at dinner were explained, and the guest card allows free bus and train travel around the area. The beds are a bit narrow.

The place is quiet and perfect for hikers; we slept well and ate well. Because I’m afraid of cats, I appreciated that Mrs. Siebert sent her “Rosi” out of the dining room so I could enjoy my meal calmly. The downside was the many flies at the breakfast table, which was quite annoying. Mrs. Siebert was friendly to us, but she said she “folded” other guests together.

The host prepared a wonderful long weekend for us with exquisite evening meals, a fantastic breakfast, lovingly arranged rooms in complete silence, and kind words. And you can also hike in peace—right from the house in the Schwarzbach and Sebnitztal hinterland of Hohnstein—or take a short trip to the Sächsische Schweiz hotspots.

The food—breakfast was great, dinner really excellent, lovingly prepared by the innkeeper, fresh and cooked with love. It’s a nice, cozy country inn.
