The location and breakfast were fine, but the room and communication fell short of what we’d hoped for; the room was tiny, tucked at the very end of the second‑floor hallway with no lift, and the balcony measured only about 1.5 m², hardly impressive. Communication was poor and inflexible, and we only received a tiny concession when we left early, yet we still had to pay the full higher rate. A tip: book directly with the hotel for a cheaper price and to avoid ending up in the dreaded room 207; if you’re okay with a small room, don’t need a lift (or prefer a ground‑floor room) and the Bodensee is back in the water, it can be a nice place.
