Phil was super helpful. The room was exactly what we were looking for: a private bathroom and a beautiful garden to enjoy our morning coffee. Thanks for hosting us—highly recommended!
Great value for money. Small but comfortable for two, in a pretty good spot, though the metro is a bit far. The charger extension cord didn’t work, and at times cigarette smoke drifted down from the upper floor.
“Good location”
The spot is spot on, just a short walk from King’s Cross so everything in London is easy to reach, and it stays quiet. The downside is the private bathroom is outside the room, so you have to step into the common area at night, and the door only locks from the inside.
The location was great; you could walk to both King’s Cross and Camden Town. The room was clean. However, I first asked the manager to install a lock on the door. When we left, we couldn’t close it from the outside—only a small keyhole allowed it to be closed from inside, and no one touched the room. The garden was poorly maintained (we didn’t plan to use it, but the description suggested otherwise). The bathroom was small but tidy. There was also the owner’s brother in the house, whom we never saw or heard, and the kitchen was left in a disgusting state with dishes in the sink and detergents on the cabinets. The fridge was there but not in the room; it was in the apartment on the floor above. To find the keys, we had to look under the garbage bin. These are all minor issues that don’t ruin the holiday but do not match the pre‑booking information.
