The staff were friendly, the room was calm and quiet, and breakfast was good. The bathroom door was a half‑open panel, not a solid door, and it sat right next to the bed, making restroom trips awkward. The rooftop pool was freezing and there were no towels available.

The common areas were great, the beds comfortable, staff friendly, and the location convenient. Soundproofing was poor: we could hear the couple next door arguing, and whenever a group of four in adjacent rooms closed their door, we woke up. The room didn’t match the photos: the bed was at the entry, the room narrowed, and the seating area was at the far end with no natural light. The bathroom and shower were tucked into a cupboard off the bedroom with a glass door; the basin was inside the room, which wasn’t clear in the pictures. The toilet was opposite the bed with no soundproofing, which was unpleasant. For this price, a separate bathroom would have been expected.

The room had everything you need, but even after the recent renovation (2022?) you can still see the maintenance lagging: the glass shower door is still hanging with half its screws, the drain pipe is wobbly and loose, the baseboards show wear, the smart TV has no network connection and keeps showing an error, the power plug was pulled out and reconnecting it didn’t fix the issue, there are two glass elevators and one is out of service—what if the other one fails?

The security inside the hotel, the comfort of the room, and the warmth of the staff were all great, but I’m petite and the bed is too low, plus the mattresses feel worn out.
