The space is perfect for a solo traveler, the neighborhood is beautiful, and the nearby food is amazing. The window couldn’t really open in a way that lets you feel the outside.

The exits 6 and 7 of the subway station are very close; exit 6 has an elevator, exit 7 only stairs, but you still have to go down to the underground gate. There are many restaurants nearby, plus a small 7-Eleven and CU. It feels like a residential area; wandering outside at night to find a restaurant feels safe. Walking from the hotel to the other side of the main road, there’s a huge Olive Young for bulk shopping and a Shake Shack to eat. Dongdaemun Market is just a short walk away, so the location is really great and the room rates are affordable. The hotel has only stairs. I checked in during staff shift hours, and they helped me carry my luggage upstairs and processed my computer check‑in directly, which was fantastic. The front desk is on the 3rd floor, and the rooms are on the 3‑4th floors, so you must walk up the stairs; people with large luggage or limited mobility should be careful. The hotel is fully smoke‑free; if you’re a smoker, they say you can go to the rooftop smoking area or outside the 1st‑floor entrance, but I don’t smoke, so I didn’t go. I had an early flight, so when I checked out in the morning I moved my luggage down the stairs myself because the staff hadn’t started work yet. The first thing I saw in the room was that it was clean and minimalist, which I liked. Since I was traveling alone, I booked a single room; the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The supplies were complete, the hair dryer was powerful, and there were various phone chargers – very thoughtful. The air conditioning was cool enough, and the TV could stream YouTube and Netflix, which I loved. The bathroom space was not very large; I’m not very thin, and I felt like if I were a bit heavier, the bathroom door might not let me enter easily, which was a bit odd. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all in large bottles; the sink shared the same space as the shower head, so it was hard to keep wet and dry separate. The room’s sound insulation was not great – I could hear voices and footsteps outside the door, but the other guests during my stay were very disciplined, so I never experienced any loud noise, especially at night, and I could sleep well without earplugs. The front desk area has a sizable public space with tables, chairs, and a sink for guests to use, plus a water dispenser, free tea bags, and surprisingly a free coffee machine, three types of instant noodles, and a free washer‑dryer! There are also large trash cans and recycling bins, so I didn’t have to worry about what to do with drink cans or leftover food. The public area also offers toilet paper, clean towels, and a fragrance diffuser for use. Even though the hotel can clean daily, I usually stay 3‑4 nights and prefer not to have my room cleaned or towels changed, as I don’t think it gets dirty.

The location is extremely convenient, less than 5 minutes from Dongdaemun Station exits 7 and 1, and the signs are clear and easy to find. It’s also close to DPP and various tourist spots. The room is clean and tidy, fully equipped, and the size can accommodate a 24‑inch suitcase folded. The lobby is bright, and there’s free instant noodles and coffee. The public area provides clean towels daily and a washing machine. The front desk staff are friendly, helped me carry my luggage, and gave me taxi information – I’m really grateful. The only downside is that there’s no elevator; if you have large luggage you’ll need to move it yourself.
