“Petit prix, petite exigence. Premier contact un peu difficile”
The staff who welcomed me were friendly, and the price was unbeatable for the dates I wanted, but overall it was just acceptable given the service. Initially it was hard to contact someone to enter; then the hotel felt like it was from the 1990s. It was impossible to have breakfast and even less to have lunch, though there are restaurants nearby. There was a smell of smoke because smoking is not prohibited, and it took almost two weeks to receive an invoice.

The room was clean and the bed was wide, but the bathroom lacked a trash can, the bedside lamp was missing, and the place clearly needed renovation.

Nichts. "Hotel " ist eine Baustelle. Sehr hellhörig. Kein Personal. Ich musste mit Taschenlampe zu meinem Zimmer gehen. Nicht zu empfehlen. Booking sollte die Unterkunft aus seinem Repertoire nehmen. Das ist rufschädigent. Ich fast direkt wieder abgereist

I paid in advance for the Anchovis stay, but when I got there around 19.15 hrs the entrance was shut. Two phone numbers were listed – one from the booking site and one on the door – and neither worked. I sat around for 45 minutes before walking away, and every attempt to recover my payment from Anchovis or the booking site has been ignored; no replies to my emails.

I never saw any staff; everything was handled over the phone. The hotel looked very run-down, and even though they claim to be renovating, the rooms were still unfinished. My room was filthy, with no trash bin at all. The drawers were overflowing with previous guests' rubbish, and an old toothbrush was still in the bathroom. Red stains marred what appeared to be a new floor and parts of the white walls. The new doors were questionable. Every little noise made me think someone was coming in. I would not recommend this place; we left the room without anyone noticing because there was no one around.
