Hotel Vela, a family-run hotel, is situated in Trento's main square, 2 km from Trent Train Station. The hotel offers panoramic mountain views, free Wi-Fi, and garage parking. Its quiet location features excellent public transport links. Rooms are air-conditioned with satellite TV, minibar, and private bathroom. Buffet breakfast and homemade specialties are served in the on-site restaurant with pizzeria.

We liked the large room in the annex building (big deal!), but breakfast was a bit plain and the breakfast area felt only slightly cozy.

We could safely lock our e‑bikes in the underground parking, breakfast was plenty and varied for Italian standards.

The staff, especially those in the restaurant, were very friendly, but the room didn’t match the description: it was tiny, had no balcony, and the “minibar” was just an unplugged, empty fridge. The bathroom was small with a miniature shower, only three tiny soap pieces and a combined shower‑shampoo dispenser were provided, and the air‑conditioner was extremely noisy.
