“Upea lomakokemus”

The B&B in Lierna has a great location. Leenan and Marilenna provided wonderful service, a varied breakfast, and a tidy room. For Finnish speakers it was also a great chance to speak in Finnish. We received very useful tips about sights and local customs. Getting from Lierna to Varenna is easy and quick by train. From Lierna there are boat connections to other villages in Como and wider ferry links from Varenna. The accommodation is close to the harbor and the train station.

The owner was lovely and welcoming. The place has a lot of character and the location is great. Breakfast was very personalized, with the host asking at the start of the stay what kind of foods we liked. The only small improvement that could be made is that the door was difficult to lock from the inside because it was hard to get the key in the right position; probably just needs a small adjustment. I forgot to mention that to the host.

“Posto magico”

The atmosphere at B&B Le Fate del Lago is unique. Everything from the furnishings to the welcome makes the place “magical” and comfortable. The B&B is in a strategic location, almost next to the lake, 50 m from the minimarket, the pharmacy, the best restaurants and bars. The pier and the train station are also very close, letting you visit all the lakeside towns without ever using a car and enjoying the beautiful views. Marilena runs the place in the best possible way, with a thousand attentions (including breakfast), making you feel at home.

Extremely beautiful. Decorated with taste. Nice location. Very nice and helpful landlord. Parking is available a walking 2 minutes distance from apartment. The breakfast offering is very limited.
