The hotel is modern and good. The reception staff are very strange; they sent me three WhatsApp messages to confirm my reservation, yet no one ever appeared. They were very dull, insisting that police must escort us in town.

The modern hotel in the city center features European-style renovation, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, good linen, and strong hot water pressure. There’s a restaurant on the 4th floor with a beautiful terrace, though no alcohol is served. The staff are nice but can be pushy and repetitive, asking the same questions ten times. When we left the hotel, a police escort was assigned to accompany us, which can be annoying, as the city’s atmosphere is otherwise friendly.

The front desk team were very helpful and friendly. The décor feels historic and the room is huge, spotless and tidy. Breakfast was decent, the kitchen staff were organized, and lunch was generous enough for one person. The location right in front of the main train station brings nighttime noise, and there’s no nearby parking – you either use valet or walk a distance to bring your car yourself.
