We spent more than a week here with our family – four people and two dogs – and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive, speaking English and a bit of German so communication was smooth. The accommodation was truly pet‑friendly and the dogs were warmly welcomed. The house and apartment were spotless, and the décor reflected the local culture and regional character. The pool was cleaned meticulously every morning, keeping it in perfect condition. The surroundings are beautiful, ideal for those seeking peace and relaxation, and we could even spot deer from the window. A car drive of about ten minutes takes you to Livorno’s city centre and the seaside beaches, making it easy to combine tranquility with outings and beach visits. The kitchen is well equipped, with Wi‑Fi and laundry facilities available; only a microwave was missing, which our daughters especially missed. A special thanks to the hosts for their great help when we had a technical issue with our car. Because we left in a hurry, we forgot some personal items, but the hosts kindly sent them to us by post. The only minor drawback was the private access road to the property, which had been damaged by a storm, but that’s beyond the hosts’ control.
