“Bra hotell med bra läge nära järnvägsstationen och andra kommunikationer”

The room felt spacious, with a large window overlooking the Central Station and no direct view into the street. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, allowing early check‑in and a slightly later check‑out on one of the two rooms we booked. Breakfast had a good selection and was laid out so it didn’t feel rushed, even though many guests ate at the same time. The only complaint was that the sheets were too warm for us.

The location was very central and the breakfast was excellent. Construction started at 05.15 am, and the noise seeped into the room, but they compensated nicely with two breakfast vouchers.

“Allt fanns som behövdes”

Everything was plentiful, and the coffee at the few spots we tried was good, though we didn’t get any herring. The room could have had a cooler.

I was impressed by the comfy beds and the hearty breakfast, and the hotel’s proximity to Göteborg Central and the tram lines was a bonus. The luggage storage was a nice touch while we waited for the train. On the downside, the breakfast area felt messy, with a lot of waste and people piling on food without finishing it. Parents let their kids run around unchecked, touch the food, and then leave it uneaten – a photo shows this. It feels like we’re paying extra for that mess, and the bar is a bit pricey; not everyone earns a lot but still wants a glass of wine for under 100 kronor in the restaurant/bar.
