The guesthouse was very tasty, the sunny terrace was amazing for a quick break and a sunbath, but the sea is not across the street, and given that this wasn’t a priority this time, everything else was excellent.

Interior, cooking facilities. Everything was a mess.

The location was convenient with a parking space, the place was very clean and the balcony was a nice touch, plus a supermarket was just around the corner. The mattress felt a bit thin, the stovetop only offered four settings and there was no dish towel provided.

The tiny but very cozy and compact room surprised me pleasantly; it even had a Bible on the nightstand and a balcony or loft with a nice view. Overall, I liked Mērsrags. The owners sent a very thorough note about how to open the key box, so I’ll use it elsewhere with a similar system. I’d gladly return here, not just for one night.
