I booked this hostel, they told me there were no places, and they kicked me out to look for other accommodation in the evening, and that too after surgery.

“Superb!”

The staff were very helpful, and I managed to snag a lower bunk bed even though the hostel was fully booked because I arrived early. The spot is great—just a short walk from the train station, metro, Old Nice, the city centre, and practically everything you could need. On the downside, there was no sink in the shared toilet, so you had to rely on hand sanitizer. The door lock on the room was a bit troublesome; it sometimes wouldn’t open, and you had to try several times, which was annoying if you were already asleep. The weather was another issue: it was still warm in autumn, so we kept the windows open for fresh air, but that brought in mosquitoes and outside noise. Closing the windows made it too hot to sleep comfortably, and we ended up sweating through the night.
