The location had potential and the pool room was a unique find, but a water main broke and we were forced to use sink showers—only one hot shower in the entire stay—and the water was brown, nasty, and full of sediment. We couldn’t enjoy the tub, and although Meadowbrook wasn’t at fault, they offered no compensation or bottled water, which was disappointing for a hotel priced as “luxe.”

I slept well in the comfy room, and the kettle with supplies in the room let me brew a coffee every morning; the reception had fresh coffee almost all day, but a decent breakfast would have made the stay even more comfortable.
