“Clean, Spacious Rooms & Kind Owner”

I got a roomy private room and a tidy shared bathroom. The owner was super friendly and answered any questions I had. He even helped the taxi driver find the guesthouse when I was picked up from the bus station. The walls are thin, so if someone is loud it can be noisy, but everyone I stayed with was respectful.

Hey, I'm the owner of Ilham House. I don't get how the system works. I booked the place myself, canceled before I arrived, and now the platform lets me write a review. The guest never came or canceled, yet they're allowed to leave a review. How does that make sense?

“Spatious historical building with beautiful cortyard”

The house is huge and spotless, with a lovely courtyard and a big shared kitchen stocked with everything. There's also a modern shared bathroom that's clean and comfortable. The host was welcoming and friendly, chatting with us a few times and giving great tips on what to see after Sheki. He speaks Russian fluently. The location is spot on—just a short walk from the historic center. A taxi from the bus station costs about 3 manats, which is convenient.

“Just price and location”

The place is cheap and in a good spot, but the sound insulation is terrible. It's a wooden building, so you hear every step. It's not comfortable for tall folks, there's no AC, and the beds are thin, old, and too short for taller people.

The kitchen is huge, and you can even hang clothes there. The bathroom is also big. The Wi‑Fi is spotty and often doesn't work.
