“Disappointed”
The location is perfect for exploring Amsterdam, but the only open windows were two street‑side window/doors, so fresh air was only available while inside the apartment and could not be left open at night; an old fan was finally supplied but had to be propped with a chair to prevent it from falling, and we were told another had been ordered and would arrive, yet after a week we still had no usable fan; we were also told the construction next door was finished, but it ran all day for a week, with sawing in the shared entry outside our door; the carpet was old and one section had a different colored carpet sewn over the existing one; bathroom lighting was very dim; the kitchen had no cutting board or knives except the table knives; the apartment was too pricey for what was offered.
