Jim was a wonderful host, extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. He prepared and served breakfast with great care, and tried hard to meet my special requests. It was great that we could sit in the garden, and he raised the room temperature at my request. He also carried my heavy suitcase up and down the stairs. As Europeans, we found the breakfast a bit odd – too much fruit and sweets, which I’d rather avoid. Like many restaurants, the dining room temperature was too low, so we had to wear jackets. The doors squeaked loudly and the sliding bathroom door was wobbly and noisy.
