The location is ideal for feeling like you’re living among locals. The flat sits on the edge of the old town, everything is reachable within minutes, yet the area doesn’t feel overly touristy. Those who love the marina and promenade will be happy here. Budget‑savvy travelers will find a good deal. The air‑conditioning and Wi‑Fi work well. The place was clean and the bed comfortable. I didn’t feel comfortable as a solo traveler sharing the space with strangers. The noise level can be very high on weekends. The flat’s equipment could be better. Cooking is difficult. The kitchen tap is old and washing dishes is cumbersome. The common room isn’t air‑conditioned. The coffee machine is hard to use and the coffee pods aren’t refilled. Cash payment on arrival wasn’t communicated beforehand. Overall, everything gives a rather indifferent impression.

“Perfecto, céntrico y limpio”

The location is great, right next to Palermo’s port and only a 5‑10 minute walk from the center. Everything was very clean and the host gave excellent service. It has everything you need for a couple of days. The only downside is that street noise is quite noticeable.

We felt very comfortable! The accommodation and surroundings became close to our hearts. The staff were very friendly. Overall, it was completely suitable for us and we gladly recommend Bed á Cala!

The location is great for exploring Palermo’s main streets, just a few minutes’ walk from Vucciria and Via Maqueda. The accommodation sits inside the ZTL, but there’s a nearby parking lot that lets you avoid the restricted zone as long as you enter via the port street. However, there was a lot of dust under the beds and we found a previous guest’s razor in the bathroom. Also, the mini‑fridge and dining area were shared with another room.
