The motel offers 24-hour reception, free parking, and proximity to several restaurants, the Keeble Observatory, and James River Cellars Winery, 4 miles away.

The beds were comfortable, the location suited our needs for Kings Dominion, it was only 10 minutes from our motel, facilities were clean with hot water, the décor was a bit dated but not a deal‑breaker, the room doors were confusing at first – we didn’t realize our bathroom door was next to our room door and the door we thought was the bathroom actually led to the room behind us, but none of these were deal‑breakers.

The staff were friendly and very attentive, but the dresser was broken and unusable, and the shower was worn out yet still functional.

Nothing at all. EVERYTHING!!! when I first arrived there the guy at the reception didn’t even speak English. He had to call someone on the phone to talk to me to check me in then when I got into the room, the lights did not work in the first room. The bathtub was dirty with black on the bottom the window was busted out in the bathroom. There was rust on the lights and in the drawers the toilet did not flush. I went back up to the reception to ask for a refund they got the manager on the phone and he was very rude to me and to the booking Staff he would not check his email to give me the refund and it’s been four days later and I still haven’t got a refund we didn’t stay there but 15 minutes long enough to check the room out. We booked to stay for four days and we didn’t stay there at all and they’re not giving me my money back this place was disgusting they didn’t care at all they I had 6 children with me and the fact that I am pregnant as well we was four hours away from home and it was pouring down rain at night trying to find another hotel to stay at thankful I had some money in savings to get another room or we would have been stranded this was the worst experience I have ever had on a vacation I will never use booking again because they didn’t care enough about their customers to protect me and my money from this scam just horrible
