There was no one at reception to access facilities, which was as expected for the price. I went for a swim but ended up waiting at reception for over 15 minutes with no one to turn up, so I returned to my room and left.

It’s close to walks and the town centre.

I liked how easy it was to get around the town, but the lack of a lift meant I had to haul my bags through the bar and dining area, which was a hassle. The room had a musty smell, especially when the radiator kicked on, and there was no plug socket near the bed, which was inconvenient.
