The host was kind and always ready to assist us. The terrace with its spectacular view of the pyramids was a highlight, and the breakfast was great. The guest house area was a bit disappointing.
The property is well located very close to the pyramids. The rooms are spacious and clean. The owner, Halim, is very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.
“Magique”
Breakfast, the view from the terrace, the comfort of the beds, and Halim’s friendliness were all positive. The bathroom was lacking; there were missing utensils in the kitchen, and the street where the entrance is located is not ideal.
Everything! Mr. Gohar is very hospitable and available for any request. The B&B sits in a quiet area; from the terrace you get a superb view of the pyramids, just 5 minutes from the Sphinx entrance. The Egyptian breakfast is super abundant with both savory and sweet options, and water, tea, and coffee are always on hand. Suggestion: it’s a bit hard to find, but if you let yourself be taken to El Dar Darak restaurant, it’s a 2‑minute walk. Nothing to add.
“Le prix ne compense pas les aboiements des chiens la nuit et la mauvaise qualité du petit déjeuner.”
The location is perfect for reaching the pyramids, about 10 minutes on foot. Restaurants on the main avenue are also nearby. From the terrace we have a clear view of the Khafre and Menkaure pyramids; the Khufu pyramid is hidden by a building. The room is large and clean, as is the bathroom. The owner isn’t very knowledgeable about local information – for example, when asked “What’s the way to the pyramids? Straight ahead,” the answer is fine, but once you leave the hotel, it’s unclear whether you should turn right or left. Otherwise, he’s very friendly. Breakfast is plentiful, but the ingredients are really not good and everything is cold. At night the street is quiet, no cars, but there are a lot of dogs barking regularly.
