Sunflower Hotel

The place feels very cozy; when I arrived the host wasn’t there, so they left a key for me. The kitchen on the first floor is free to use, and there’s a fridge with frozen dumplings that look like they were left by a previous Chinese guest, still unfinished.

“Chambre agréable mais propreté laisse à désirer”

The room is well arranged with a huge bed, a private bathroom, and a small sofa, plus a fridge and a microwave in excellent condition. The shared kitchenette is modest but still handy. The host was very responsive and welcoming throughout our stay, and the neighborhood is ideal—close to the metro, the city center is within walking distance, and shops are nearby. However, the room seemed unclean before we arrived, except for the sheets; the floor was dirty and we had to vacuum upon arrival. Dust had piled up for a long time. The balcony was not maintained and didn’t feel inviting, even though it’s clearly an asset of the room, which is disappointing. There was also a strong unpleasant smell in the shared kitchen area, probably coming from the toilets right next to it.

Cozy, comfortable, and full of atmosphere.

The outside spot was nice, the washing machine was free to use, the room was spacious, and the owner was friendly. The bathroom was okay, and the sheets and towels were clean. It was also handy to have a bus stop and shops nearby. The kitchen was very small, inconvenient, and not very clean.

No staff there – it’s a fake hotel. It’s not a hotel; it’s fake.
