The space was cozy and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped for the villa (Secret Garden). Comfortable and clean! The horses and other animals were a very interesting plus! The insects, however, are natural in a rural setting; I suggest citronella candles or something to control them inside the villas.

Unfortunately, our experience at Bruval Eco Retreat was quite disappointing. The accommodation was dusty and had dirty curtains, the space was cramped, and the sleeping area was very close to the ceiling, making it extremely hot and uncomfortable, especially in summer. Another negative point was the lack of privacy. The bungalow and the hot tub area were exposed to neighboring homes and a street with passing cars. The sense of privacy shown in the photos did not match what we found on site. The photos on Booking also seemed to convey a perception of space, comfort, and privacy that was higher than reality. The price paid is high for the conditions encountered. We intended to spend a relaxing night, even bringing sparkling wine to enjoy the experience, but we ended up leaving only 3–4 hours after arrival and didn’t spend the night there. It’s a shame because the concept of the place is very interesting, but cleanliness, thermal comfort, privacy, and value for money need to be significantly improved.

We had a very pleasant stay. The girl Flávia welcomed us with great friendliness and attentiveness. The place is very beautiful, cozy, and gives off a calm, pleasant vibe. It was a very positive experience and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. As a suggestion, we thought it would be useful to have a microwave and a wider breakfast selection, especially lactose‑free and gluten‑free options, since more people have these intolerances. We also felt that the €15 per person price was a bit high for the variety offered, especially the €12.50 charged for a child. With that price, we expected a more diverse breakfast.
