The location was excellent, the place spotless and quiet, and the room spacious; breakfast offered plenty of options for everyone, and there was plenty of parking.

The location gives easy access to Windermere town centre, Bouness & Keswick, and the staff are very friendly and helpful; breakfast is good, filling, and ready for a day of touring. We’re happy to stay here, though the first night’s room was a bit lacking but was fixed and we moved to another room the next morning; room maintenance needs to be kept up.

Cleanliness was top notch and the room felt cosy; the breakfast was amazing, generous and fresh. I could not stand in the bath.

The facilities were lovely and the location quiet, within easy walking distance of Windermere and Bowness; the staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was tasty. On the last day we waited over an hour for our cooked breakfast, being served after two couples who ordered after us; the heating in room 7 was very cold, but the hosts helped and the heating eventually came on—perhaps the master switch should be turned on a bit earlier for that area, as it only activated later in the evening.

“All home comforts in great location”

The staff were great, the location between Windermere and Bowness was valuable with private off‑road parking, the place was very clean, the room comfy and quiet, and breakfast was good.
