The location is ideal. Unfortunately the only elevator was out of order, we stayed on the 6th floor while breakfast was on the ground floor. An amateur porn shoot took place in a room above ours during our stay, and our room was not cleaned daily.

The hotel's location is fine and the staff are correct. However, the elevator was broken, the stairs were dusty, and breakfast was very mediocre—there was a type of turkey or chicken fromage blanc but no ham slices cut in half.

It was my second stay at the hotel, just a few blocks from Puerto Viejo and close to the main streets of the center. Next to the hotel there's a lovely bakery where you could sit and eat a pizza. Restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. The room was comfortable and clean.

Location is good, but the elevator is bad and was not mentioned in the booking.
