The hosts were very friendly and kind, and there were two cute dogs. Even though the hosts didn’t speak English, they were very open, surrounded us with care, and treated us to delicious wine. The room itself was clean, spacious, and bright. The bathroom was sometimes a bit cold, but that’s part of the place’s character.

This picturesque building exudes charm and absolute tranquility; the hosts’ welcome is truly exceptional. Plenty of space and everything needed for a great stay, with breakfasts featuring fresh, abundant goodies and delicious homemade honey. I felt completely safe and relaxed, and the facilities are excellent—definitely coming back!

The location is amazing, and Cathy & Yann are incredible hosts who make you feel welcomed right away. It’s very convenient, just a few minutes from Amboise city center, letting you enjoy a quiet, sunny morning in nature while still having easy access to the city’s culture, restaurants, and cafés within a 10‑minute ride. The main building showcases traditional Loire Valley Tuffeau stone architecture, and the bedroom itself is tucked into the rock as a proper troglodyte accommodation, perfect for hot summer days. Be sure to check out the Sunday morning market in Amboise before you leave. Nothing was missing—everything was just perfect.

Everything was perfect: the room was well arranged and comfortable, the reception very warm, and the breakfasts sumptuous. Nothing to criticize; we highly recommend it.

We were warmly welcomed by our hosts. The garden‑floor apartment is spacious, tastefully decorated with harmony, and fully equipped. Breakfast is a treat, with homemade jams, honey, and compote. The troglodyte house keeps cool when it’s very hot outside, and the surroundings are very calm. We strongly recommend this stop if you’re visiting the region.
