I wish there had been more time to relax; I’d have liked to sip coffee on the screened front porch or on the swing, and I never got to play the games in the front room. The trip was mainly for a wedding, but I liked it so much that I’d plan a getaway around a stay here.

The innkeepers were friendly and accommodating. We spent one night with our granddaughter in a very clean, comfortable room, and they even called to let us know we’d left something behind.

I stayed in a room that had no shower, no breakfast, no kitchen, and no air conditioning, and the bed was crappy. The toilet seat was loose and the entrance lacked railings, all while the property sat just 20 feet from a noisy road. On the bright side, the single staff member was a wonderful person!

The facility was wonderful and the new owner was very friendly and accommodating, and the place has a very historic feel. I would have liked more information about the Inn’s history, but that’s just an add‑on that would have made the place even more appealing.
