The beds were very good, everything was tidy and clean. The host was friendly, and the breakfast was good and neatly presented. Nothing stood out as negative.

The spot is great, but the house feels like a relic. We were four, and there was only a single table against a wall in a tiny kitchen—no lounge area at all. The bathrooms were cramped and old, with a shower so small it was uncomfortable. Even the pool, which we didn't plan to use, was green and algae‑laden. Location is the only bright spot.

The host was super friendly and the breakfast was tasty and plenty. Rooms were clean and it worked well as a base for hiking. It did feel a bit old‑fashioned, but that’s part of the Austrian charm, I guess.

The owners were incredibly kind and understanding. We got there a bit late and had trouble finding a place to eat before dinner. The lady called a nearby pizzeria that was closing, and they waited for us. We ended up with a fantastic pizza.
