The place sits right next to the Jordan MTR station, which is great, and the price is decent for Hong Kong. However, there’s a severe mould smell in the room and the AC, so strong that you can’t get rid of it because the bathroom can’t be sealed properly; it keeps the odor trapped. The AC can’t be turned off because it’s too hot. The building itself looks pretty decrepit and scary at first glance, one of the worst I’ve seen in HK. I’d steer clear if possible, but if you’re on a tight budget and can tolerate a constant mouldy scent, it might work.

Getting out of the house is the same as entering the metro—super convenient! The promenade, ferry, and Kowloon Park are within walking distance, making it an ideal spot. For the picky, it probably isn’t suitable; the place felt a bit untidy, and the AC in the neighboring room had an unpleasant smell. Overall, it was a bit off-putting.

If you just want to sleep late at night, that’s fine. The vibe is comparable to Chonkin Mansion.

“Great location, excellent value.”

The location is excellent, just off a main shopping street with supermarkets, restaurants, and a metro station nearby. It’s walkable to many major attractions. The room is small, but given the spot, it’s a great value.

Right out of Jordan Station, the building offers superb access! Reception is on the 13th floor, with separate elevators for high and low floors. During the day, there are plenty of shops around, and at night a 7‑Eleven is right next door. I chose a private room and the AC worked fine, so no issues.
