Grands Suites Hotel and Spa Sliema

“Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend this hotel. The excellent service and welcoming atmo”

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the reception team delivered outstanding service throughout; the hotel’s facilities were excellent and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, with lovely balconies. The food was very good and the drinks excellent, but breakfast could use a wider selection of fresh fruit and more frequent replenishment, though the restaurant staff remained friendly and attentive.

“Over priced”

The rooftop pool, view, and location were great, but finding hairs on the bathroom tiles put me off for the rest of my stay; the shower cubicle looked worn, the black interior felt gloomy and could hide dirt, so I doubted the room’s cleanliness. Over three days no one cleaned the room and the tea, coffee, and water weren’t refilled, so I give it one star.

“Good, central option for your stay near Valletta, but skip the breakfast”

The hotel feels very modern and well equipped, located right in the middle of a bustling area full of shops and restaurants. The room is spacious and comes with a proper kitchenette, and the rooftop pool offers stunning views. We booked a family room with two bedrooms, but the separation was only a cupboard instead of a wall, and there were no blinds so the room was bright early in the morning. Traffic noise from the streets could also be heard. The breakfast buffet was plentiful but the food quality was disappointing, which didn’t match the otherwise decent impression we had of the hotel.

The rooftop terrace was impressive.

The location was good, quite close to the bus station, not far from the ferryboat station to get to Valetta. The view from our 10th floor was great, with a panorama of the harbor and over a part of Valetta. The breakfast was a rich buffet with food to satisfy any tastes. Our two bedrooms which accommodate 4 persons are separated by a wardrobe that does not completely close the wall, ensuring little privacy
