The décor is atypical and extraordinary, the environment is wild and charming, the cleanliness is flawless, and the pool is magnificent – a haven of peace and serenity in untamed nature. The access is a bit tricky, with a 1.3 km stony path.

I was greeted with a warm welcome and the owners were very available, the place was peaceful and the house itself was gorgeous, with tastefully decorated corners and a stunning inner courtyard garden in May. It was clean and comfortable, though the path to the mas isn’t suitable for low‑profile cars like my Peugeot 5008; you’ll need to take the festival route to Cannes or walk, but normal cars can get through fine.

The house is stunning and the surroundings are delightful, surrounded by animals that add a lot of charm. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and the access is via a small, rough road, which is a minor issue. Overall, the cottage offers a beautiful setting and good hospitality, but some practical details could be improved. The shared bathroom is upstairs, yet you have to walk down the stairs to reach the toilet, which isn’t very convenient. The beds were not very comfortable, we had back pain, and the rooms were hot because they’re directly under the roof, making nights difficult (open windows brought mosquitoes and rooster crowing from 5 am). Breakfast was simple with fruit juice, crackers, butter and croissants, but lacked fresh fruit and eggs.

We loved the exceptional setting of the Mas in this lush nature. The hosts were very friendly, and the whole place was surrounded by the quiet and natural sounds only. We recommend the Mas Serre Plume.
