The room was beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos, but the pool was empty.

The room and bathroom were excellent, the food was pretty good and the staff were very friendly, and I had the best mangoes I’ve ever tasted. The location is a drawback – there’s nothing to do nearby unless you’re planning the Rinjani trek, and it was a shame the pool wasn’t filled with water.

The spot’s right by the waterfalls and the bed was comfy, with the staff giving us a friendly vibe. Yet it felt like the owners had abandoned finishing the build and the team wasn’t well‑trained; at check‑in we got no heads‑up on breakfast times, Wi‑Fi, or basic stuff, so we had to ask everything ourselves. The dining tables weren’t cleared or wiped after meals, and the toilets and amenities looked unclean. For the price it’s a passable place if you just need a bed for the night, but it’s not a hotel you’d want to spend a lot of time in.

The property itself is solid – the room is roomy with high ceilings, the bathroom sits at the back and opens to the elements, and the front terrace overlooks the pool area so you can mingle with other guests. It still feels unfinished, though; adding more furniture would make it cozier. We only had one towel for two of us and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly. The pool outside isn’t filled yet but would be great once it is. The place has a lot of potential, and with a few tweaks and finishing touches it should be excellent soon.
